I photograph the city the way I experience it.

I’m Miguel Negron, a Chicago-based photographer drawn to real places, real people, and the moments that happen in between.

My work moves between the street and the sky. Sometimes that means finding geometry in a building, sometimes character in a neighborhood, and sometimes a completely different point of view from above.

Photography, for me, is about perspective. Not polishing reality until it stops feeling real. Not forcing a moment that isn’t there. Just paying attention long enough to recognize when something ordinary suddenly becomes worth remembering.
